Robots, Reunions, & Fried Food: RevoRoute on the Road
When you’re building a business, getting your technology out in front of people is key. But
sometimes, the absolute best part of the job is the people you get to do it with.
Recently, we had the awesome opportunity to pack up the robots for a one-day trade show at
the Northern Lights Casino. The best part? We got to tag along with one of our employee’s old
family at TSBL Distributing.
Before diving into the world of commercial floor cleaning and delivery robots, Matt spent 11
years working for TSBL. They are, simply put, a great group of guys. Letting us piggyback on
their trade show footprint so we could demonstrate our machines was an incredibly generous
move. It’s rare to transition into a new venture and keep such strong ties, so spending the day
catching up with the crew was a massive highlight.
The event itself was a blast. Taking the robots out for a spin gave us the chance to have some
fantastic conversations with nice accounts who were eager to see automation in action.
It was also a pleasure to meet so many employees from the Northern Lights Casino. They were
incredibly welcoming and starting to demonstrate how our robots navigate and operate in a
bustling hospitality environment sparked a lot of great questions and ideas.
Of course, it wasn’t all business. You can’t set up at an event like this without participating in
the local fare. Between running the robots and chatting with attendees, the TSBL guys and our
crew hit the food hard. Let’s just say we successfully fueled the day on a highly specialized diet
of fried foods and ice cream.
A massive thank you to TSBL Distributing for bringing us along, and to Northern Lights Casino
for having us. It was a perfect day of showcasing technology, catching up with great friends, and
eating way too much junk food.
