The C30 Went Tanning… and Cleaned the Place Too

Some demos start with a cold call.

This one started because I did not want to get cooked on vacation.

I usually go tanning a handful of times before a trip so I do not burn the second I see the sun. After going to $5 Tan a few times, I ended up meeting Sam, who manages and works at a few of their locations. After being in there enough, I started looking around and thinking the same thing I usually think when I walk into a building now:

The CleanPro C30 would be perfect here.

Long narrow hallways. A nice open front area. Smaller rooms. Daily foot traffic. Floors that need to stay clean without someone constantly having to think about them.

So eventually, I gave Sam my card.

She said she would do what she could and talk to the district manager.

Long story short, Sam got it done for me and RevoRoute Robotics.

The morning of the demo, Sam texted me and said the district manager was actually going to be there too and wanted to see it.

That is when the morning got a lot more interesting.

I was thinking, “Alright, here we go. Perfect timing.”

We got over there, and the district manager, Megan, was awesome. Super nice, very engaged, and genuinely interested in what the robot could do. She was not just standing there watching it roll around like it was a toy. She was asking real questions, paying attention to the details, and thinking through how it could actually fit into their locations.

That is always a good sign.

Then we changed the C30’s face to say:

Welcome to $5 Tan

They loved it.

I loved it.

And honestly, the little robot looked like it had been waiting its whole life for that exact moment.

Mark started mapping the place out, and right away it was clear this was a great C30 environment. Long hallway runs, open front room, and smaller tanning rooms branching off the sides. It is the kind of layout where a smaller cleaning robot actually makes a ton of sense.

While Mark was mapping, labeling, and getting the robot ready, I did what any serious robotics professional would do.

I went and got Chipotle and coffee for the manager and employees.

By the time I got back, Mark was pretty much done. I went through the map, double-checked a few things, looked at the settings, and made a couple small changes that probably did not even need to be changed.

Everything looked good.

Then it was game time.

We ran the CleanPro C30, and it nailed it.

The robot handled the main areas, cruised the hallways, worked through the layout, and even got into some of the smaller rooms. For a tighter, more crowded space, I was impressed with how well it moved and how cleanly it handled the route.

The C30 looked right at home.

Which is funny, because when you first think “tanning salon,” you probably do not immediately think “autonomous cleaning robot.”

But once you see it in there, it makes perfect sense.

A place like $5 Tan has steady foot traffic, smaller rooms, hallways, front entry space, and floors that need to look good all day. It is not some massive warehouse where the robot has unlimited room to do whatever it wants. It has to be smart, compact, and able to work through real spaces that people actually use.

That is where the C30 shines.

It is small enough to fit the environment, but useful enough to actually matter.

Megan was impressed. Sam was impressed. I was impressed. Mark got another real demo under his belt. And the C30 was probably just happy to be inside a tanning salon instead of getting thrown into another dirty pole barn.

We talked pricing. We walked through the technology and app. We showed how the robot can be set up, scheduled, monitored, and actually used as a real tool instead of just a cool gadget rolling around.

By the end, Megan wanted a full folder of information, and she already had other people in mind who might be interested too.

That is the kind of demo that gets you feeling pretty good.

Not because everything has to be some huge dramatic moment, but because it made sense. The layout made sense. The robot made sense. The people understood it. And the conversation kept getting better as the morning went on.

That is what RevoRoute Robotics is really trying to do.

Bring robots into real businesses, show what they can actually do, answer the questions, get the setup right, and help people picture how automation could fit into their everyday operation.

This was a great morning with great people who had good heads on their shoulders.

Sam got the door opened.

Megan showed up ready to learn.

Mark mapped it out.

The C30 did its thing.

And somewhere between the tanning beds, Chipotle, coffee, and “Welcome to $5 Tan” glowing on the robot’s face, another demo turned into a really solid opportunity.

The CleanPro C30 went tanning.

And somehow still left the floors cleaner than when it showed up.

RevoRoute Robotics

At RevoRoute Robotics, we believe robotics should feel a lot more personal.

We’re a family-owned business built on real relationships, real service, and real follow-through. We’re not here to act like some massive big-box operation or just move units and disappear. Our goal is simple: take care of people, help businesses run better, and build customer relationships that turn into friendships.

That’s what makes us different.

We’re proud to represent KEENON Robotics with exclusive distributor rights, but what matters even more is how we do business. We’re not just shipping robots and hoping for the best like a lot of companies out there. We stay involved. We help with the process. We answer the phone. We help with setup, service, maintenance, support, and the little things that matter after the sale.

Because to us, buying a robot shouldn’t feel like ordering a random product online. It should feel like you have a team behind you.

Whether you’re looking to improve cleaning consistency, save on labor, create a better customer experience, or bring smarter automation into your business, we work with you to find the right fit. No pressure, no cookie-cutter approach, no disappearing after delivery.

At RevoRoute, we want to earn your trust for the long haul.

Not just as your robotics provider, but as people you know, people you can call, and people who genuinely care about helping your business win.

That’s the RevoRoute difference:

Revolutionizing The Route Forward.
