The Boss Got Indoor Plumbing
Before heading into St. Cloud for MASMS, we had another stop to make.
Just about 15–20 minutes away, we headed back to Grand Champion Meats to continue dialing in their CleanBoss C40 setup.
This time, the focus was the workstation.
And this is where the Boss starts getting a little more independent.
Grand Champion Meats went with the full workstation setup, which allows the C40 to return home, dock, charge, automatically refill its clean-water tank, and automatically dump the dirty water it collected during cleaning.
Basically…
The Boss got indoor plumbing.
For a business running the robot regularly, that matters.
Instead of someone manually filling the clean-water tank before every cleaning cycle and emptying the dirty-water tank afterward, the workstation helps automate more of that process.
The goal is simple:
Let the robot handle more of the repetitive work from start to finish.
That means the C40 can complete its route, return to the workstation, take care of the water cycle, recharge, and get ready for the next run.
Pretty slick.
Of course, getting a workstation set up correctly takes more than rolling it against a wall and plugging it in.
There is fresh-water access.
Drainage.
Power.
Hoses.
Clearance.
Docking position.
Testing.
And making sure everything works together the way it is supposed to.
So we spent time getting the setup dialed in, checking connections, testing the robot’s return to the workstation, and working through the little details that come with installing automation inside a real business.
That is a big part of what we do.
Selling the robot is one piece.
Getting it working correctly in the customer’s actual environment is another.
Every building is different.
Every route is different.
Every installation teaches you something.
And the more systems we put into the field, the more important that hands-on support becomes.
That is why we like staying involved after delivery.
We want the customer to know they can call us, text us, ask questions, make adjustments, and have someone there to help get things dialed in.
Grand Champion Meats has been a great example of that.
Kelly and the team have given the C40 a real-world environment to prove itself in, and the workstation is the next step in making the overall cleaning process even more autonomous.
The C40 handles the repetitive floor work.
The workstation handles more of the water and charging cycle.
The staff gets more time back.
That is the whole idea.
And the timing worked out perfectly.
Once we finished up at Grand Champion Meats, we were only a short drive away from MASMS in St. Cloud.
So within the same trip, we got to spend time supporting an existing customer and then head over to show a whole room of facility professionals what these systems can do.
That is a pretty good snapshot of where RevoRoute is at.
Install.
Support.
Learn.
Improve.
Then go show the next group what is possible.
Grand Champion Meats already had the Boss.
Now the Boss has plumbing.
Automatic refill.
Automatic dirty-water draining.
Automatic charging.
And one less thing for the staff to worry about.
Not a bad upgrade.
