Tangletown Bike Shop Demo: Yeah… the Robot Did That
One of the best parts of building RevoRoute is getting to bring these robots into real businesses and seeing what they actually do.
Our demo at Tangletown Bike Shop was one of those moments where you just stand there and think, okay yeah… this thing is legit.
Tangletown is an awesome spot. Great people, cool setup, busy shop, and the kind of place where the floors actually have to deal with real life — foot traffic, dirt, dust, bike shop grime, all of it. Which makes it the perfect place for a real demo.
Because let’s be honest — anybody can talk a big game about robots.
We’d rather let the robot go to work and shut everybody up on its own.
And that’s pretty much what happened.
Watching it move through the shop, handle the space, and do its thing was fun enough on its own. But the real star of the show was the recovery tank after. Absolutely disgusting. In the best possible way. The kind of dirty water that makes you laugh a little and also say, alright… wow.
That’s the stuff people don’t always realize. A floor can look pretty clean, but once this thing gets after it, you find out real quick what’s actually been hanging around down there.
And that’s why demos like this matter.
It stops being “here’s our cool robot” and starts being “oh… this thing actually works.” Real business. Real dirt. Real result. No fluff, no guessing, no fake salesy nonsense.
That’s what RevoRoute is about.
We’re not trying to just show off tech. We’re trying to bring businesses something smarter, more efficient, and honestly just way cooler than the old way of doing things.
Huge thanks to Tangletown Bike Shop for letting us come in and put the robot to work. We appreciate you guys letting us roll in, test it out, and show what this thing can really do.
Safe to say… the robot understood the assignment.
And we’re just getting started.
